SWAMPSCOTT — Early voting begins Oct. 22 for the upcoming Nov. 6 state election.
Voting will be in the Selectmen’s meeting room at Town Hall, on the first floor.
Early voting will be from Oct. 22 to Nov. 2. The hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to noon on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The voter registration deadline for the state election is Wednesday, Oct. 17 by 8 p.m. The town clerk’s office in Town Hall will be open until that time.
Voter resources, including mail-in voter registration forms, are available on the Secretary of State’s website.
To register, residents must be a United States citizen, a Massachusetts resident, 18 years old on or before Election Day, and not currently incarcerated by reason of a felony conviction.
Residents are urged to check their voter registration information and status in advance, and anyone with questions should contact the town clerk’s office.
