Delegates of the North Shore Labor Council voted to endorse John L. O’Brien Jr. for the Essex County Register of Deeds. The North Shore Labor Council is endorsing Mr. O’Brien because of his efforts to protect Essex County land and homeowners from property fraud. He fought for the Lynn Homeowners Bill of Rights and worked with members of the Massachusetts Association Against Predatory Lending to protect residents in danger of losing their homes. He has proven his commitment to fighting Wall Street banks on behalf of working families.
The North Shore Labor Council is a coalition of 50 local unions representing more than 18,000 members and their families on the North Shore.
