LYNN — The man struck by and pinned under an inbound commuter rail train in Central Square Sunday night has died, according to Lynn Fire Department Capt. Joseph Zukas.
The man, who is in his 40s, died overnight after being taken by medflight helicopter to Tufts Medical Center following the collision.
Authorities have not released his name and are still investigating why he was on the tracks.
