LYNN — The man killed by an inbound commuter rail train on Sunday night has been identified as Jose Gonzalez, a 56-year-old homeless man, according to Lynn Fire Capt. Joseph Zukas.
Gonzalez, whose last known address was in Lynn, was struck and pinned underneath the train. He had to be extricated by Lynn fire crews and was taken by medflight to Tufts Medical Center where he died overnight.
