LYNN — A 36-year-old Lynn man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after a large amount of heroin and cocaine was found at his home on Tuesday morning.
Larchilles Bruton was charged with heroin/fentanyl trafficking 200-plus grams, cocaine trafficking 100-plus grams, firearm possession without a firearm identification card, firearm use in a felony, unlawful possession of ammo without a firearm identification card and possession of a large capacity weapon/feeding firearm.
Police executed a search warrant at 99 Laighton St. at 6 a.m. and seized 648 grams of what is believed to be heroin or fentanyl, 131 grams of cocaine, two illegal 9mm firearms and $31,906 in cash. The drugs have an estimated street value of $77,900, according to Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec.
The raid was the result of a long-term investigation conducted by the Lynn Police Drug Task Force, State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Kmiec said.
