A 61-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Revere Beach Boulevard on Sunday night.
The woman was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital after being hit by a 2011 Kia Soul driven by a 54-year-old Lynn man near Oak Island Street. Neither the driver or the 8-year-old passenger were injured, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
The pedestrian was hit shortly after 6 p.m. after she began to cross Revere Beach Boulevard, not in a crosswalk, but between two parked vehicles, police said.
