Suspicious activity reported at 572 Lowell St. on Sunday at 5:50 p.m. Voice mail message said the front door to the residence has been open for weeks. It appears some of the rear windows are broken and the house appears to be unoccupied. Suggests police at least close the front door to discourage intruders. Officers checked the home, which is abandoned, and were able to secure the front door.
Caller reported she came home on Sunday at 7:18 p.m. at 2 Aborn St., Apt. 3, to find someone had broken into her house and was in the bathroom. Officer reports the matter appears to be a misunderstanding and the man was a guest who is no longer wanted on the premises. He was sent on his way.

Spanish-speaking caller requests EMS for treatment of injuries suffered in an assault by the person in his apartment at 7223 Crane Brook Way on Monday at 1:20 a.m. Officers report the matter involves an intoxicated acquaintance who arrived at the home unannounced and uninvited. Patient was taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. Officer will document.
Well-being check requested from a grandmother in Florida for her grandson at 21 Brown St. on Monday at 10:34 a.m. Officer checked residence but party no longer lives at that address. Officer reports party made contact with police department and said the child was ill. The party said they are uncomfortable with the reporting party’s recent behavior and may pursue a restraining order.
