A caller reported she was driving on Elm Street, at 7:55 a.m. on Monday, and saw a crying child with no shoes who appeared to be in distress. She stated the child knew his first name but did not know his last name. Responding officers were able to locate his parents and reunite him with his father.
A caller reported a vehicle on a Humphrey Street sidewalk that was partially blocking her driveway at 8 a.m. on Monday. Responding officers tagged the vehicle for a sidewalk violation.
A caller reported a large amount of water leaking from a home on Elizabeth Road at 9:17 a.m. on Monday. He said he believes the homeowners were out of town and felt it should be checked out. Responding officers found it was a sump pump.
A walk-in reported at 9:41 a.m. on Monday that she received a scam letter from France telling her she won $26.7 million but she needed to provide her information to claim the winnings. She stated she was aware it was a scam but wanted the police department to be aware.
A caller reported she arrived home at 5:11 p.m. on Monday and found her front door open on Mechanic Court. She stated she lives alone, was concerned and believes it was closed when she left in the morning. Responding officers did a walk-through and found everything to be clear.

At 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday the Light Department reported the power was back on.

While monitoring the coastal cameras, an officer noticed youths walking around the DPW building at 1:39 p.m. Saturday. Police spoke to the individuals, who were hiking in the area.

A caller reported having a loose black Lab puppy at his house on Irving Way at 6:25 p.m. Sunday. The dog had no collar and appeared to be about 6 months old.

Victoria Lopez-Chavez, 34, of 2224 Lander St., Lynn, was summoned on Monday at 1:12 p.m. following a car crash at Esquire Drive and Andover Street for failure to yield and the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Amilcar Enrique Lopez-Chavez, 23, of 2224 Lander St., Lynn, was also summoned on Monday at 1:12 p.m. following the crash at Esquire Drive and Andover Street for allowing an unlicensed operator to drive a car.
Fillipe A. Souza, 26, of 21 Overlook Ridge Terrace, Apt. 325, Revere, was summoned for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

On Sunday at 6:27 p.m. caller reported his mother keeps receiving threatening/harassing phone calls from an unknown party saying things like “Stay away from my girlfriend or I’ll shoot you.” Party has been advised it’s the wrong number but continues to call. Officer will document.
Party stuck in the car at Maddy’s Car Wash at 300 Andover St. on Sunday at 6:51 p.m. Caller said they opened the car door remotely. Officer reports all clear.
Man reported harassment from an ex-girlfriend on Sunday at 7 p.m. Caller declined to issue a restraining order.
Caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle driving by his home on Emily Lane on Sunday at 7:18 p.m. after listing his vehicle on Craigslist. Officer reports he will call the operator and document the incident.
Four-Star Towing reported hooking a trespassing vehicle on Sunday at 9:53 p.m. at the Tannery Gardens at 111 Foster St. and the owner is being difficult, refusing to pay and interfering with the tow. The owner presented a visitor pass and the vehicle was released without incident.
Caller reported being assaulted by a security officer at the Lahey Medical Center at 1 Essex Center Drive on Monday at 2:12 a.m. Dispatch called Lahey and they reported it as an out-of-control patient.
