Dennis Dawes, 56, of 25 Malta St., Apt. 2, Mattapan, was arrested following a traffic stop at Treadwell’s Ice Cream at 46 Margin St. on Friday at 11:54 a.m. and charged with the reckless operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and a missing number plate. The vehicle was towed by All-Star Towing.

Caller reports her neighbor asked her to call 911, and then ran back to her unit at Mobile Estates at 286 Newbury St. on Friday at 4:51 a.m. Officer reports speaking to the reporting party who said she was having difficulty finding her daughter, who had run out of the unit to an unknown location immediately upon waking. Woman was described as a 25-year-old wearing a tan jacket and gray sweatpants. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate her.

Disabled motor vehicle reported at Town Variety at 116 Central St. on Friday at 10:33 a.m. The vehicle is unoccupied and blocking the driveway to the business and was towed by All-Star Towing. The officer issued a parking ticket for obstructing the driveway. Caller from 16 Fulton St. reports three people refuse to leave the home on Friday at 2:52 p.m. The officer stated that two men fled the area after having an argument with a third person. Female refused medical attention.
Mother reported her daughter was in a fight at James Street Park on Friday at 3:23 p.m. The officers arrived and there was no one on scene. Officer located the party near the entrance to the Higgins Middle School. The officer stated that the juvenile was taken to North Shore Children’s Hospital by Atlantic Ambulance.
