LYNN — Lynn Police are searching for a man suspected of lying on the ground in a women’s bathroom at a Lynn school and looking at a staff member while she was in the next stall.
According to an email sent to students from North Shore Community College’s interim Chief of Police David Cook and obtained by The Item, a faculty member was in the bathroom on the second floor of the McGee Building when she noticed the man looking up at her.
Campus officers heard her cry for help and attempted to stop and identify the male suspect, but he fled and exited the building before they could take custody, according to the message.
The suspect was identified by campus and Lynn police, who will issue a warrant for his arrest. Cook declined to identify the suspect before speaking with him but told The Item he is not a student at the school.
The 22-year-old is described as 5 feet, 8 inches, 160 pounds.
Cook told students they should not approach the individual.
