MARBLEHEAD — The Marblehead Art Walk, “Where Art and Business Meet,” will be Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m., in stores and restaurants throughout town.
The art walk has been a local tradition for 10 years. It was created to bring artists, businesses and the community together. Dozens of artists will be on site to speak about their work and/or offer interactive demos or other programming.
“Art Walk presents the opportunity for people to walk around town and visit stores they may never have been in before to meet local artists, many of whom do not have storefronts themselves,” said Andrew Christensen, president of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors. “We are all eager to continue the synergy between the vibrant art community and businesses in town.”
A map of participating stores and artists is available at the chamber’s website, www.marbleheadchamber.org. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact the chamber at 781-631-2868 or via email at [email protected].
