MOULTONBOROUGH, N.H. — A Saugus man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident in New Hampshire early Thursday morning.
Worth P. Olsen, 35, was thrown from his motorcycle during a single-vehicle crash on Kona Farm Road near Morrill Street in Moultonborough, New Hampshire shortly after 12:30 a.m., according to Moultonborough Police.
Olsen was traveling westbound on Kona Farm Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and went off the southerly side of the road and was ejected from the bike, according to a statement from Moultonborough Police Chief John Monaghan III.
Initial 911 callers told police he was unconscious and not breathing, said Monaghan. Passerbys performed CPR on Olsen until first responders arrived and police took over the life-saving efforts, which included the use of a defibrillator, he said.
Olsen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Moultonborough Police Department was assisted at the scene by New Hampshire State Police Troop E, Moultonborough Fire Rescue Department, and Stewart’s Ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation.
