LYNN — Two Lynn men were arrested on drug trafficking charges after a large amount of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine was found at an Elm Street home on Thursday morning, police said.
Malik Alexander, 23, of 54 Elm St., was charged with Class A drug trafficking 200-plus grams, Class B drug trafficking 36-plus grams, unlawful improper storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm without a firearm identification card and malicious destruction of property.
Socheath San, 33, of 99 South St., was charged with Class A drug trafficking 200-plus grams, Class A drug possession, Class B drug possession, unlawful improper storage of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a firearm identification card.
At approximately 6 a.m., Lynn Police Drug Task Force officers executed a search warrant at 54 Elm St. and seized 283 grams of suspected heroin and fentanyl, 40 grams of suspected crack cocaine, more than $30,000 in cash and an illegal firearm, according to Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec.
The drugs have a street value of approximately $32,300.
