A caller reported at 2:19 p.m. on Thursday that they were concerned for their Intrepid Circle neighbor’s dog who was recently adopted. They stated the dog is kept in a cage eight hours a day while the owner is at work and the dog barks constantly. They stated a major concern for the dog’s well-being. Dispatch advised the animal control officer to investigate.
A postal worker called at 5:17 p.m. on Thursday that there were two baby raccoons by a residence on Ramsdell Road. He was advised to contact Mass Wildlife.
A caller reported at 8:49 p.m. on Thursday that a car they did not recognize was parked in their driveway on Jersey Street. Responding officers located the car’s owner and she stated she was babysitting nearby and didn’t know it was a neighbor’s driveway.
A caller reported a group of kids on bikes in the middle of Brook Road and Clifton Avenue at 9:25 p.m. on Thursday. They stated the kids were almost hit by a car. Responding officers were unable to locate.

Scott Braden Kehoe, 18, homeless, was arrested on a warrant in the lobby of the Peabody Police Department at 6 Allens Lane on Wednesday at 4:47 p.m.
Zachary Paul Provencal, 21, of 120 Walnut Ave., Hampton, N.H., was arrested following a traffic stop on Northshore Road on Wednesday at 10:24 p.m. for trafficking fentanyl.
Michael W. Halbick, 40, of 32 Sutton St., was arrested on a warrant for a past shoplifting incident at Barnes & Noble at 210 Andover St. on Thursday at 2:44 p.m. and charged with theft of $300 worth of merchandise.

Yolanda F. Brogden, 49, of 2214 Crane Brook Way, was summoned on Wednesday at 7:55 p.m. following a complaint of a motor vehicle blocking the driveway at 5 School St. and charged with operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle. Car towed by Four Star Towing.

Two-car motor vehicle crash reported on Thursday at 11:20 a.m. at Sprint at 232 Andover St. Officer reports no injuries, one operator called AAA for a tow, the other operator refused a tow from All-Star Towing. The driver of motor vehicle two was issued a ticket for marked lanes violation.
Report of two-vehicle car crash at South Congregational Church at 60 Prospect St. on Thursday at 11:43 a.m. Officer assisted in the exchange of paperwork.
Woman called to report she struck a car coming out of the parking lot near the Dunkin’ Donuts on Forest Street on Thursday at 12:16 p.m. She is now at Doggone Purr-fect Professional Pet Groomin at 145 Summit St. wanting to speak with police. Officer spoke with the complainant and she wants to document the incident. There was no damage to the vehicle and she was unable to get the license plate of the subject that was yelling at her.

A report of shoplifting from Sunglass Hut on Broadway at 7:44 p.m. Thursday. The caller reports three women stole 83 pairs of glasses.
A 911 caller reported three men between the ages of 18 and 22 broke into vehicles on Anjo Street at 4:03 a.m. Friday. The caller further reported the men fled down Bristow Street towards the marsh. Police report locating a stolen vehicle in front of 78 Bristow St. with the interior lights on and a vest on the roof.
A 911 caller reported two men wearing all black entered Saugus Italian American Club on Beachview Avenue at 4:48 a.m. Friday. Police requested the Fire Department respond with a thermal imaging camera to assist in an area search. State Police sent two canines to respond. The suspects were not located.
