LYNN — A 21-year-old man was seriously injured after he was shot twice in the chest outside an Oakwood Avenue apartment building Sunday night, according to the Lynn Fire Department.
Police and fire crews responded to the shooting shortly before 9:30 p.m. and found the man shot near a dumpster at 5 Oakwood Ave., Lynn Fire Capt. Joseph Zukas said.
The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries, but his condition is not yet known, Zukas said.
