NAHANT — The body of a 73-year-old man was found on Short Beach early Saturday morning.

Nahant Police received a 911 call at about 7:40 a.m. reporting a dead person on the beach, according to Nahant Police Chief Robert Dwyer. Officers responded to the area and confirmed the man, identified as Mikhail Bourgoun, of Lynn, was deceased. Foul play is not suspected at this time, he said.

The Essex County District Attorney’s Office was immediately contacted and their State Police detective team took over the investigation.
