More hardware for English High JROTC drill team’s trophy case

The English High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC drill team brought home an armful of awards from the 2019 All Service Drill Championships held in Mexico, N.Y., last weekend, including second-place Overall Finish out of 10 teams from four states.

The competition also netted first-place, unarmed inspection; first-place unarmed regulation; first-place, unarmed new cadet squad; first-place unarmed commanders’ award — Yereline Taveras; second-place, armed regulation; second-place, armed exhibition; second-place armed color guard and individual drill awards for Erignaco Fermin, Tyler Generazzo, Taveras and Devin Nguyen Som.
