The Revere football team capped off its regular season in style Friday, blanking foe Salem 49-0 at Harry Della Russo Stadium. With the win, the Patriots remain unbeaten and capture at least a share of the NEC South title.
“I’m just so proud of our guys, it’s been a long time since we’ve won or had a share of an NEC South title,” said Revere coach Lou Cicatelli. “It was a big win for us that was led by a dominant defensive effort. I couldn’t be happier for our guys.”
The defense was the star of the show for Revere, as the Patriots had three interceptions, two blocked punts and pitched a shutout. On the offensive end, Joe Llanos rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown while Calvin Boudreau threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Lucas Barbosa and Zach Furlong each had a touchdown reception.
Revere (7-0) now awaits its seeding in the Division 4 North tournament, which will be announced Sunday.

The Spartans kept the game close through three quarters, but a late touchdown pushed Mashpee over the edge.
