SALEM — Richard Davis, 68, of Lynn, was convicted of second-degree murder Tuesday for stabbing a man to death in a Union Street rooming house two years ago, prosecutors said.
Davis was found guilty of killing Kevin Crowley, 50, on Aug. 6, 2017, after a four-day trial in Essex Superior Court, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s office.
Both men were residents of a rooming house at 195 Union St.
Davis’ second-degree murder conviction is punishable by life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 to 20 years. His sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 7, prosecutors said.
