LYNN — A 27-year-old Lynn man was shot three times inside a Joyce Street apartment building on Tuesday evening, police said.
Police responded to 8 Joyce St. shortly after 5 p.m. and found a man inside a hallway suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen, hip and buttocks, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. He needed surgery, but police didn’t have an update on his condition Wednesday, Kmiec said.
No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation.
