Peabody’s Lisa Keene was named Northeastern Conference Coach of the Year and her Tanners split the Sportsmanship Award with Salem as the conference announced its award winners.
Danvers’ Lily Eldridge, who helped carry the Falcons to the Division 2 North title, was named Player of the Year. Eldridge joined teammates Megan Murphy, Carly Goodhue and Maddy Montanari on the All-Conference team. Also earning All-Conference honors were Classical’s Pamela Diaz and Marblehead’s Anna Arbo and Abby Schwartz. Diaz helped her Rams to a program-best 19 wins in the regular season and an appearance in the Division 2 North quarterfinal.
On the NEC North All-Star team are Danvers’ Jianna Durand, Cassidy Makkey and Shayla Saad; Beverly’s Rory Harmon, Julia Erricola; Marblehead’s Lilah Thompson, Anna Schuluter; Peabody’s Isabel Bettencourt, Aaliyah Alleyne; Swampscott’s Cassidy Ryan, Annika Laudermann.
On the NEC South All-Star team are Saugus’ Taylor Bogdanski, Madison Niles; English’s Merily Folestal, Abnerliz Ocasio-Lugo; Classical’s Amber Crayton, Cherish Nwoko, Jean Gupton-Morrison; Salem’s Presley Shairs, Dyanelis Mateo; Winthrop’s Lili Dias, Caroline Earl.
