Northeastern Conference football all-stars, awards announced

Bound for Saturday’s Division 5 Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium, the Swampscott football team earned four nods on the Northeastern Conference North All-Conference team. The NEC awards and all-stars were released Thursday. 

Big Blue quarterback Graham Inzana was joined by teammates Zack Palmer, Anton Vasquez and Dylan January on the North All-Conference squad. The rest of the North All-Conference includes Peabody’s Colby Therrien, Chris Faraca and Kyle Maglione; Marblehead’s Tim Cronin, Sean McCarthy, JT Monahan, Joshua Robertson, Declan Rudloff; Beverly’s Marge Mulumba, Duncan Moreland, Chris Curran; Glocuester’s Ben Renales; Danvers’ JP Kelter, Russ Canova, Richie Canova, Jack Stangie, Andrew Cronis, Tom Walfield. 

Danvers’ Ryan Nolan was named North Coach of the Year and Russ Canova earned Player of the Year honors. 

Revere logged six members on the South All-Conference team. Joe Llanos, who was named South Player of the Year. Llanos is joined on the squad by teammates Mazer Ali, Jaryd Benson, Jonathan Murphy, Lucas Barbosa and Calvin Boudreau. The rest of the South All-Conference team includes Classical’s Manny Guerrero, Kevin Paniqua, Daniel Gisonno, Maurice Sequeira and Jeffrey Hill; English’s Mathias Fowler, Anthony Timmons, Tahj Purter, Ryan Dewan, Sam Ofurie; Saugus’ Christian Correia, Marvens Jean; Winthrop’s Bryan Conceicao, Bobby Hubert, Tyler Rockefeller; Salem’s Devin Tolbert. 

Revere’s Lou Cicatelli was named South Coach of the Year. 

North honorable mentions are Danvers’ Ezra Lombardi, Chase Eary; Marblehead’s Ryan Freiberger, Will Twadell, Brendon Rowe; Swampscott’s Tyler Marshall, Andrew Augustin; Beverly’s Billy Adams, Xavier Copeland; Peabody’s Joe Casey; Gloucester’s Anthony Simonelli.

South honorable mentions are Revere’s Josh Laurina, Zach Furlong, Billy Ginepra; Classical’s Aidan Dow, Kalvin So; English’s Tommy Gaylord, Fenix Figueroa; Winthrop’s Matt Hurley, Stephen Perullo; Saugus’ Sal Franco; Salem’s Melkin Bautista.
