Sacred Heart School Parents Association Committee hosted a Dance a thon this year to raise funds to make a state of the art playground for our scholars.

The Dance a thon was last week to end Catholic Schools week.

Scholars raising money to participate in the event. Sacred Heart School also reached out to local community dance studios to see if they wanted to spotlight their dance teams.

Sacred Heart School and the Parent Association Committee want to thank the dance studios that participated, LeAnne Leslie’s School of Theatrical Dance out of Lynn, St. Mary’s High School Dance Team, Paula Terenzi’s Dance Complex out of Malden, Chiampa Dance Center out of Lynnfield, and Ms. Nicole Nauman’s Dynamic Dance team out of Sacred Heart School.

The Dance a thon also got generous donations from local food restaurants, including Charlies Pizza, Pamino’s Pizza and Roast beef, John’s Roast Beef, J Pace and Rolly’s tavern.

Along with food donations, many local restaurants, and stores donated items for our raffle baskets.

The Parent Association Committee has a lot more work to accomplish this upcoming year to reach our goal of $50,000 for a school playground. The Sacred Heart community would like to thank everyone that put their time, effort and dedication into this amazing effort and dedication into this amazing school
