LYNN — A 43-year-old Lynn man is expected to survive after he was stabbed multiple times in the area of Chestnut and Essex streets Sunday morning, police said.
Police believe the incident stemmed from a possible robbery, but it’s not clear if anything was stolen, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Shortly after 6 a.m., police responded to the area and found the man had been stabbed at least three times in his upper body and leg, Kmiec said.
The man was taken to Salem Hospital with serious injuries, Kmiec said.
“He had experienced a lot of blood loss, but he has since been stabilized at the hospital,” Kmiec said.
No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation.
