LYNN — Three men were arrested after police seized a large amount of marijuana, suboxone, cash and a gun from a Cottage Street residence early Monday morning.
The three men arrested — Joel Pastrana, 21, of Lynn; Samuel Sathler, 18, of Revere; and Justin Westmoreland, 22, of Lynn — were all charged with Class B and D drug possession with intent to distribute, unlawful proper storage of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammo without a firearm identification card (FID), firearm use in a felony, and firearm possession without an FID card.
The Lynn Police Drug Task Force worked with the Massachusetts State Police, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to execute a search warrant at 75 Cottage St. as part of an ongoing investigation, police said.
At about 5 a.m., Lynn Police with the assistance of the State Police STOP team entered the residence and seized more than 16 pounds of marijuana, bottles of THC liquid, 32 suboxone strips, a firearm and ammunition, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Authorities also seized more than $19,000 in cash, which was found in both the home and a vehicle, Kmiec said.
