NAHANT — State Police are investigating a deadly Nahant crash that occurred over the weekend.
Around 7 p.m. Saturday, Nahant Police reportedly received several 911 calls about a van that had crashed into a house on Nahant Road. The operator, who was the sole occupant in the van, was transported to Salem Hospital and later pronounced dead.
The investigation was turned over to the Essex County State Police Detectives and the State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
A statement from both State and Nahant Police reported that the incident is under investigation and no further details will be released.
