PEABODY — Myra Reyes, 64, a resident at the Crowninshield Apartment complex, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Friday night during a Black Lives Matter protest held in Peabody Square.
The protest drew an estimated 200 people, who gathered outside the Peabody District Courthouse on Lowell Street to protest the death of George Floyd, a black man who died in Minneapolis last week while he was handcuffed and in police custody.
