LYNN — A 33-year-old man was hospitalized after he was struck by a falling tree limb in Lynn Woods Tuesday evening, according to the Lynn Fire Department.
Shortly before 6 p.m., the Lynn Fire Department received a 911 call for a tree that had fallen on someone in the area of Pennybrook Road, Lynn Fire Capt. Joseph Zukas said.
The victim, an employee of Brennan Tree Service, was working with other crew members to take down the tree when one of its limbs came down on them, Zukas said.
“The tree grazed him and he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital by Lynn Fire Medic 1,” Zukas said. “He was in stable condition when he was taken.”
