Peabody’s coronavirus death toll continues to rise, with three more deaths reported on Wednesday.

The city’s virus death toll now stands at 159, according to Peabody Health Director Sharon Cameron.

However, the city’s day-to-day increase in cases has remained low in recent weeks. With three new cases reported since Monday, the city’s caseload is 1,038 — 673 people have recovered from the virus, according to Cameron.

In Lynn, nine new cases, but no additional deaths were reported on Wednesday. The city now has 3,585 cases and 95 deaths — 987 cases remain active and 2,503 people have recovered, according to city data. The City of Lynn, in partnership with Lynn Community Health Center, North Shore Medical Center, and North Shore Physicians Group, is offering COVID-19 testing on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Ingalls Elementary School.

Two hundred tests will be completed on a first come, first serve basis. Residents do not need to be a Lynn Community Health Center or North Shore Physician Group patient to be screened. People will not be asked about their immigration status and do not need to have health insurance.

An additional two deaths were reported in Revere to bring the city’s death toll to 80. With four new cases on Wednesday, Revere now has 1,769 cases — 1,454 people have recovered, according to the city website.

Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (96 cases and 11 deaths) and Nahant (42 cases and six deaths) on Wednesday.

According to the state Department of Public Health, Marblehead (228 cases and 30 deaths) and Swampscott (128 cases and eight deaths) each reported an additional case on Wednesday.
