32 new cases reported in Lynn

With 32 new cases reported on Wednesday, the new coronavirus surge continues in Lynn. 

The city now has 4,075 cases, with 570 active ones. 

The death toll remained the same at 111 on Wednesday and 3,394 Lynn residents have now recovered from the virus, according to city data. 

Revere is also experiencing a spike in cases. Seventeen new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 2,083.

After weeks of being in the single-digits, the seven-day average of new cases in Revere is now 14.1. 

Ninety-three people have died and 1,678 have recovered from the virus in Revere, according to the city website. 

Peabody has reported nine new cases since Monday to bring the city’s total number of cases to 1,160. The number of deaths remained at 174 on Wednesday and 876 people have recovered from the virus, according to the health department. 

Saugus has diagnosed 19 new cases since last Thursday. Numbers updated on Wednesday show the town has 598 cases and 38 deaths. 

Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (106 cases, 11 deaths) and Nahant (50 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead or Swampscott. 

As of Monday, Marblehead has 251 cases and 30 deaths and Swampscott has 145 cases and 10 deaths.
