Three more COVID-19 deaths reported

Additional coronavirus deaths were reported in Lynn, Peabody and Swampscott on Friday. 

With one additional virus fatality each, the respective death tolls in Lynn, Peabody and Swampscott have risen to 117, 180 and 11. 

Lynn reported 10 new cases on Friday to bring the city’s caseload to 4,620. Of that total, 559 cases are active and 3,944 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data. 

Peabody also reported an additional case. The city now has 1,245 cases, but 949 people have recovered, according to the health department. 

Three new cases were reported in Lynnfield to bring the town’s caseload to 117. Eleven people have died.

The total number of cases remained the same in Swampscott at 160. 

Numbers did not change in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and had not been updated in Marblehead, Revere, or Saugus by press time. 

As of Thursday, Revere had 2,433 cases and 98 deaths, and numbers in Marblehead (263 cases, 30 deaths) and Saugus (659 cases, 40 deaths) have not been updated since Wednesday.
