I think there are two sides to hate crimes in Lynnfield. I have great respect for all our residents. There is a small park called (Rotary Park) on Summer Street on Pillings Pond.
This park with public and private funds was built and dedicated to deceased members of our community. It was desecrated on June 11. Pictures were taken that day that show the desecration. We have asked repeatedly for that park to be clear cut and maintained by the town.
If this was done with additional lights in the evening, it would be very difficult to throw signs in the water and to write graffiti on the property. Thank you for your interest.
