Three additional COVID deaths in Lynnfield

Lynnfield reported three additional deaths and new coronavirus cases were reported in Lynn, Peabody and Revere on Friday. 

The death toll in Lynnfield now stands at 14, but its caseload remained the same at 131, according to the town website. 

Fifteen new cases, but no additional deaths were reported in Lynn on Friday. The city now has 4,809 cases, 117 deaths and 4,128 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data. 

In Peabody, three new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 1,265. A total of 182 residents have died and 986 have recovered, according to the health department. 

Revere reported nine new cases to bring the city’s total numbers to 2,605 cases and 100 deaths, according to the city website. 

Numbers remained the same in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead, Saugus or Swampscott. 

As of Thursday, Saugus had 698 cases and 41 deaths, and Swampscott had 165 cases and 11 deaths. As of Wednesday, Marblehead had 266 cases and 30 deaths.
