LYNN

Arrests 

Shaiheem Mazil, 23, of 501 Washington St., was arrested and charged with trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl and Class B drug possession at 7:41 a.m. Friday. 

Mark Moore, 35, of 501 Washington St., was arrested and charged with trafficking 36-plus grams of a Class B drug, Class C drug possession, drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm without a firearm identification card, unlawful improper storage of a firearm, firearm use in a felony, and unlawful possession of ammo without a firearm identification card at 8:03 a.m. Friday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 8:53 p.m. Thursday at 45 Lewis St. 

Breaking and Entering 

A report of a breaking and entering at 6:27 p.m. Thursday at 54 Central Square.

Overdose 

A report of an overdose at 10:34 p.m. Thursday on Willow Street; at 9:08 a.m. Friday on Adams Street. 

A report of an opiate overdose at 6:40 a.m. Friday on Essex Street.

Theft 

A report of a larceny at 7:44 p.m. Thursday at PriceRite at 395 Lynnway. 

A report of a robbery at 7:54 p.m. Thursday at 192 Washington St. 

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 11:42 a.m. Friday at 98 Maple St. 

 

LYNNFIELD 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 9:14 a.m. Wednesday on Condon Circle. 

Complaints 

A well-being check was performed after a caller reported a tree came down on a car and house at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday at 822 Summer St. The caller was concerned about the elderly man who lives there. Police reported a tree came down on a house and blew out all of the windows on the car. 

A report of a disturbance involving an open 911 call was reported at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday at 69 Locksley Road. A caller reported she was trying to call her granddaughter who has a “very similar number to 911.” 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 5:34 a.m. Friday at 900 Lynnfield St. 

 

MARBLEHEAD 

Fire 

A report of a fire at 8:52 a.m. Thursday on Pleasant Street 

Complaints 

A caller reported he was practicing his First Amendment rights when a restaurant owner came out with a leaf blower and put it in his face at 4:01 p.m. Thursday. 

Theft 

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 1:09 p.m. Thursday on Bessom Street. Identity theft was reported. 

A Reed Street resident reported their “Back the Blue” sign was taken at 7:43 a.m. Friday. It was reportedly the fourth time their sign had been damaged or stolen. 

 

NAHANT 

Animal Control 

An officer reported a confirmed rabid raccoon on Trimountain and Bass Point roads at 12:56 p.m. Wednesday. The Department of Public Works was notified. 

Complaints

At 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, a resident called to request a black radar box on Fox Hill Road. because people had been speeding. 

Police received a call at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday from a resident who wanted to file a complaint that trucks had been running constantly since 7 p.m. the night before at the sewage location behind the caller’s house. The caller stated that workers had been yelling profanity and he felt violated. The caller was advised of the sewer break the day before and told that trucks were dispatched to pump at multiple locations throughout the town so residents would be minimally impacted. The caller stated he wanted an officer to come to the location. 

Police received a report at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday of down live wires on Central Street and Harmony Court. 

Water Incident

Police received a report of a white sail boat with blue bottom on its way to shore near Tudor Wharf at 9:02 a.m. Wednesday. A dispatched officer reported the boat’s owners were on the scene. 

A resident of Summer Street called at 8:34 a.m. Wednesday to report a fishing trawler was headed toward the rocks in front of her house. She was worried it would explode once it hit. The harbormaster was notified and the owner of the boat made aware. 

 

PEABODY

Accidents

Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Lynnfield Street at 4:11 a.m. Friday. No injuries were documented.  

Animal Control 

A caller at 8:45 a.m. Friday reported her German Shepherd/Husky mix, Millie, was missing. The dog was last seen in the area of 74 Margin St. 30 minutes prior to the call. The caller later reported Millie had been located and was home. 

Complaints

Police received a report at 9:06 a.m. Friday of a suspicious red and white van parked in the area of 264 Washington St. every day for the last few weeks. Dispatched officers discovered the owner of the vehicle parks there to walk at Eastman Field. 

A caller reported at 11:43 p.m. Thursday that a blue Chevy truck had been parked in front of her residence on Belfast Street for approximately 45 minutes. She stated the male occupant kept getting in and out of the vehicle and turning the cabin light on and off. Dispatched officers reported the vehicle was leaving upon arrival. 

Found Property

A woman located a wallet on Columbus Road during her run and turned it into the station lobby. Officers were unable to make contact with the owner and will keep the wallet at the station’s front window.

Thefts

Police received a call at 8:13 a.m. Friday from a woman who reported two Trump signs were stolen off her lawn on Walsh Avenue. Dispatched officers documented the incident. 

 

SAUGUS

Accidents

A caller reported at 5:30 p.m. Thursday that she was struck while on Route 1 and the other vehicle left the scene. The suspect vehicle was described as a small white car with a fresh new black dent in the driver’s door. An officer took down a report. 

By-Law Violations

A woman walked into the station at 4:12 p.m. Thursday to report there was an assortment of tires left on town property in front of 31 Johnson St. The Department of Public Works was notified. 

Complaints

Police received a call at 11:13 p.m. Thursday from a woman who reported she was assaulted by another female outside of her apartment on Newhall Avenue. The suspect reportedly left in a white Toyota Corolla prior to officer arrival. 

Identity Fraud

A woman walked into the station at 3:37 p.m. Thursday to report her identity had been stolen and used to file for unemployment. A report was taken. 

Theft

Police received a call at 8:20 p.m. Thursday from a man who reported his vehicle was last seen parked in the lot of LA Fitness at approximately 6 p.m. after he entered the establishment. He stated he put his belongings, which included the car keys, into a locker, which are missing. Officers were dispatched for more information. 

 

SWAMPSCOTT 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 6:05 p.m. Thursday at 204 Salem St. 

Complaints 

A report of a juvenile problem at 6:23 a.m. Thursday at Swampscott Fire Department at 76 Burrill St. The fire department reported a 10-year-old child had walked into the station and said they did not want to go home. 

A report of a disturbance at 1:38 p.m. Thursday at Humphrey Street and Monument Avenue; 1:38 p.m. Thursday at Popo’s Olde Fashion Hot Dogs at 168 Humphrey St. 

A report of suspicious activity at 5:06 p.m. Thursday at Richdale at 444 Humphrey St. A juvenile male was reportedly jumping on a bicycle and damaging it. Police spoke to some youths in the area, who did not see any of that activity. 

A caller reported kids were riding dirt bikes in the field behind the middle school at 6:02 p.m. Thursday at 207 Forest Ave.
