A surge of new coronavirus cases was reported in Lynn and Revere on Wednesday.
And with another seven new cases reported, Saugus is back in the red, as new data from the state Department of Public Health now lists the town as a high-risk community.
Saugus now has 762 cases and 42 people have died.
Lynn and Revere are also in the red for another week, an unfortunate designation both have held since the state started tracking community risk levels.
In Lynn, 29 new cases were reported on Wednesday to bring the city’s caseload to 5,157. Of that total, 306 cases are active, 118 people have died and 4,733 have recovered, according to city data.
Eighteen new cases were reported in Revere to bring the city’s total numbers to 2,913 cases and 106 deaths, according to the city website.
Peabody, a yellow or moderate risk community, has reported 19 new cases and an additional death since last Friday. The city now has 1,362 cases 187 people have died, according to the health department.
Lynnfield, which remains red for another week, reported three new cases on Wednesday. The town now has 154 cases and 14 deaths, according to the town website.
Marblehead (286 cases, 30 deaths) and Swampscott (176 cases, 11 deaths) each reported an additional case on Wednesday, but numbers remained the same in Nahant (52 cases, six deaths).
