The Bishop Fenwick boys soccer team just keeps on rolling, earning another victory over the weekend after taking down Dexter Southfield 1-0 on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.
“It was an excellent game all around,” said Fenwick coach Tony Enos. “Dexter is a solid team with structure and skill, so it was nice to see us come out and play well.”
Jack Andrews scored the lone goal for the Crusaders in the win, while Aidan Dwyer had one assist. Goalkeeper Liam Foley had four saves and earned his sixth shutout of the season, while TJ Genzale, Ryan Noci and Keiron Murray all played well.
The Crusaders also honored their four seniors — captains Foley, Genzale, Dwyer and Andrew Perry — during a pregame ceremony.
Fenwick (7-1-1) hosts Archbishop Williams Monday afternoon (4).

Grace Morey scored the lone goal on an assist from Rayne Millett. Goalie Cat Elias had four saves and Paige Littlehale also played well in the midfield.

The Spartans fell by set scores of 18-25, 15-25, 12-25. St. Mary’s travels to Cardinal Spellman Thursday afternoon (2:45).

The Crusaders got strong performances from Cade Buckley (34 points), Tony Novak (31 points), Leo Schroeder (28 points), John Bennett (28 points), Jason Romans (27 points), Gavin Belt (26 points) and Connor Cunningham (24 points).
Fenwick (12-2) has completed the regular season and now awaits the Catholic Central League Championship at Hillview Golf Course Friday morning (8).

The top finishers for the Spartans were Kyle Kwiatek in first place (17:01), Anthony D’Itria in second place (18:12) and Jesse Moriello in third place (18:32).

Fenwick picked up the win behind a first-place finish from Shannon Bresnahan (21:56). Other top finishers for Fenwick were Catherine Carter in fifth place (23:16), Maria Ryan in sixth place (23:24), Aubree Lemieux in eighth place (24:26) and Sarah Fogarty in 10th place (25:24).
