LYNN — Police are investigating after a man robbed the bank inside Stop & Shop on Wednesday evening.
Police responded to the grocery store, located at 35 Washington St., shortly before 5 p.m. and were informed a masked man had passed a note to the bank teller during the robbery.
“(He) was subsequently given money and fled the store,” said Kmiec.
It’s unclear if a weapon was shown during the robbery, which police are trying to determine with store surveillance video, Kmiec said.
The suspect is only described as being male.
