Lynn Election Summary Released

LYNN – The summary report for the 2020 election shows that Lynn voters overwhelmingly supported Joe Biden (D) for President over incumbent Donald Trump (R).
Voters also favored incumbent Ed Markey (D) for Senate and incumbent Seth Moulton (D) for the 6th Congressional District Seat in the House of Representatives over their respective challengers.
Lynners voted in favor of Question 1 which allows car owners to access and share data generated by the operation of the vehicle with independent repair shops, while opposing Question 2 which would create a system of ranked choice voting.
62.7% of registered voters cast their ballots.
Totals are as follows:
Presidential Race:
Biden (D)- 24,123
Trump (R)- 10,191
Jorgensen (L) – 330
Hawkins (G) – 200
MA Senate Race:
Markey (D) – 25,111
O’Connor (R) – 8,781
6th Congressional District Race:
Moulton (D) – 25,031
Moran (R) – 8,439
Question 1 (Right to Repair):
Yes – 23,858
No – 8,986
Question 2 (Ranked Choice Voting):
Yes – 14,659
No – 17,200
Total ballots cast:
35,139
