Coronavirus cases surged Monday in Lynn, Peabody and Revere.
New cases were also reported in Lynnfield, Nahant and Swampscott.
In Lynn, 25 new cases and an additional death were reported to bring the city’s numbers to 6,155 cases and 124 deaths. Of that total, 776 cases remain active and 5,255 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.
Peabody has reported 70 new cases and an additional death to bring the city’s total numbers to 1,660 cases and 193 deaths. A total of 1,122 people have recovered, according to the health department.
In Revere, 28 new cases were reported Monday. The city now has 3,652 cases and 109 deaths, according to the city website.
Fifteen new cases were reported in Swampscott to bring the town’s caseload to 208. Eleven people have died, according to the town website.
In Lynnfield (201 cases, 14 deaths), eight new cases were reported, and four additional cases were reported in Nahant, which now has 72 cases and six deaths.
Numbers have not been updated in Marblehead (302 cases, 30 deaths) or Saugus (921 cases, 44 deaths) since last Friday.
