Lynn reports additional death, 64 new virus cases

Another spike in coronavirus cases and an additional death was reported in Lynn on Tuesday. 

With 64 new cases reported, Lynn now has 6,724 cases, 1,004 of which are active. 

The city’s death toll climbed to 127 and 5,593 people have recovered from the virus, according to city data.

Twenty new cases were reported in Revere on Tuesday, which brings the city’s total numbers to 3,911 cases and 111 deaths, according to the city website. 

Nahant also reported an additional case to bring the town’s total numbers to 83 cases and six deaths, according to the town website. 

Numbers remained the same in Lynnfield (231 cases, 14 deaths) and were not updated in Marblehead, Peabody, Saugus or Swampscott. 

As of Monday, Peabody had 1,833 cases and 194 deaths, and Swampscott had 221 cases and 11 deaths. Numbers have not been updated in Marblehead (328 cases, 30 deaths) or Saugus (1,042 cases, 45 deaths) since last Friday.
