SAUGUS — A pedestrian is in serious condition after being struck by a motor vehicle in a hit and run on Route 1 South in Saugus Wednesday morning.
Massachusetts State Police reported the incident happened around 10:17 a.m. and that the pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital shortly after. Police were investigating the incident as of Wednesday afternoon. No other information is available at this time.
