WHAT’S OPEN:
- Certain restaurants, including Applebees, Black Bear Diner, and Boston Market, will be open.
- Certain chain stores, including Best Buy and Bed Bath and Beyond, will be open.
- All MBTA routes will operate on weekend schedules.
- Gas stations and convenience stores will generally be open regular hours.
- CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens are open. Hours will vary.
WHAT’S CLOSED
- Most municipal buildings in the region will be closed, including post offices, libraries, and town halls.
- No ferry service.
- All Massachusetts Stop & Shop and Market Basket stores will be closed.
- Trader Joe’s stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day but reopen 9 a.m. Friday.
- Whole Foods stores will be closed Thanksgiving Day but reopen for regular hours 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday.
- All Massachusetts liquor stores will be closed.
- All banks will be closed.
- UPS is closed, but UPS Holiday Critical Delivery is available.
- The stock market is closed.
PLACES OFFERING THANKSGIVING DINNERS:
Haven from Hunger (71 Wallis St., Peabody) will be providing to-go Thanksgiving meals between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Brothers Deli (41 Market St., Lynn) will provide take-out Thanksgiving meals that will be available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
My Brother’s Table (98 Willow St., Lynn) is providing to-go Thanksgiving meals to individuals and families from noon to 6 p.m.
The Friends of Salem Council on Aging (Salem) are sponsoring home-delivered Thanksgiving dinners to Salem seniors.
