LYNN

Arrests 

Michelle Carter, 61, of 1 Kingsley Terrace, was arrested on warrant charges of assault and battery and intimidation of a witness/juror/police/court official at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday. 

Michael Galvin, 36, of 11 Ledgewood Way, was arrested on warrant charges of OUI drugs, motor vehicle operator refuses to identify self, Class A drug possession subsequent offense, and Class B drug possession at 10:24 a.m. Wednesday. 

Accidents 

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway and Miller Place; at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday at 604 Essex St.; at 9:54 a.m. Wednesday on Salem Street; at 12:07 p.m. Wednesday at 75 Bennett St. 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday at Chestnut and Essex streets. 

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 333 Boston St. 

Assaults 

A report of an assault and battery at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday on Washington Street.  

Theft 

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 7:24 a.m. Wednesday at 24 Shorey St. 

Vandalism 

A report of vandalism at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday at 16 Wildemere Place; at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at 25 Hamilton Ave.

 

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street at 10:36 a.m. Tuesday. A caller reported that a vehicle struck a parked car, and left the scene before eventually returning.

Fraud

A report of unemployment fraud at 11:33 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of credit card fraud at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday.

A pharmacist called at 5:51 p.m. Tuesday to report that she had received a phony prescription the previous day.

 

NAHANT

Complaints

Police received a call at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday from a party who stated a resident on Wilson Road harasses him every time he delivers a package to the area. An officer spoke with the driver and informed him of his rights. The driver declined. 

A party called the station at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday to inquire if a male party had reported any previous parking complaints at an address on Spring Road. The caller was advised there were no previous complaints. The caller then stated that a vehicle owner walked into his garage and berated him for having his cars in the street. An officer stated they would speak with the other vehicle operator. 

Accidents

Police received a report at 8:43 a.m. Tuesday about a vehicle that had clipped a trailer on Pond Street. A dispatched officer reported the hit vehicle was missing portions of its passenger side. 

 

SAUGUS 

Accidents

Police received a report at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday about a motor vehicle accident with non-fatal injuries on Central St. and Walnut St. No tows or medical intervention was needed. 

Animal Control

Police received a call at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday from a woman who reported her dog was attacked by another dog. An officer dispatched to Marden St. reported the victim dog received very minor injuries. 

Larceny

A homeowner called the station at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday to report packages were stolen off of his front porch on Water St. An officer was dispatched for a report. 

Property Damage

Police received a call at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday from someone at Super Petroleum, Inc. on Broadway who reported someone had caused damage to one of the gas pumps. An officer was dispatched for a report. 

 

SWAMPSCOTT

Drugs

A caller reported a needle in the middle of the sidewalk on Humphrey Street at 7:01 a.m. Tuesday.

Fraud

A report of a scam on 56 Lewis Road at 2:56 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of identity theft on 1099 Humphrey St. at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday.
