Police received a report of a breaking and entering at the Houghton Branch Library on 833 Western Ave. Monday at 1:50 p.m.

Arrest
Gouchet A. Porcher, 26, of 501 Washington St., Lynn, was arrested on warrant charges on Monday at 6:20 p.m.
Accidents
Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at 6:22 p.m. Monday on Newbury Street and Lowell Street. Dispatched officers reported minor damage from a snowbank. The vehicle was freed from the snow by Gaeta’s Towing
Police received a report at 12:40 p.m. monday of a motor vehicle accident with injury on Lowell Street and King Street. One party was transported to Salem Hospital.
Police received a report at 4:49 p.m. Monday of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries near the Walgreens on Andover Street.
Police received a report at 4:04 p.m. Monday of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Clement Ave. and Washington Street.
Animal control
A man called the station at 3:34 p.m. Monday to report he was in possession of a stray dog. No reports of missing dogs matched the one found.
Complaints
Police received a report at 9:59 p.m. Monday of a possibly drunk female stumbling in the street on Main Street. Dispatched officers were unable to locate the party.
Police received a report at 9:19 p.m. Monday of a vehicle facing the wrong way on Violet Road. The vehicle was issued a citation for right wheels not to curb.
Fires
Police received a report at 3:09 p.m. Monday of a possible chimney fire on Evans Road. Emergency personnel report the fire department fixed an issue with the home’s furnace.
Overdose
Police received a report of an overdose at 1 a.m. Tuesday on Northend Street. The unresponsive female was transported to Salem Hospital.
Theft
Police received a report of shoplifting at 5:51 p.m. Monday at Barnes and Noble on Andover Street.
Police received a report of shoplifting at 4:28 p.m. Monday at Petco Superstore on Sylvan Street.
MARBLEHEAD
Accidents
A caller reported a hit and run accident in which a school bus mirror was struck on Pleasant Street at 1:28 p.m. Monday.
A person walked into the station to report a past motor vehicle accident at 4:55 p.m. Monday.
Complaints
A caller reported a booming outside her house on Rose Avenue at 6:22 p.m. Monday, possibly from the Yacht Club nearby. Police checked the area and didn’t hear anything.
NAHANT
Accidents
An officer reported at 1:55 a.m. Saturday that a vehicle on Nahant appeared to have fresh damage from a side-swipe hit and run. The officer checked the surrounding area but did not locate any other vehicles that may have been involved. The officer left a business card for the owner of the struck vehicle.
Animal control
A large black dog with no tags was found along Spinney Path. Police report the parties who found the dog posted to the town Facebook page.
Complaints
Police received a report at 4:38 p.m. Monday that a vehicle was parked across all the parking spots in the Dunkin Donuts lot on Wilson Road.
A resident on Summer Street called the station at 8:14 p.m. Sunday to report an ongoing issue with their upstairs neighbor being loud and stomping on the floors. A dispatched officer reported the issue was resolved for the time being.
Police received a call at 8 p.m. Saturday from a woman who reported hearing a loud bang followed by a yellow flare near the Knights of Columbus on Gardner Road. Dispatched units found fireworks to be the source of commotion.
SWAMPSCOTT
Accidents
A caller reported at 12:55 p.m. Monday that her vehicle was struck by another car while she was parked in front of the Urgent Care at 440 Paradise Road.
Assault
Police received a report of an assault and battery between a man and a woman on the sidewalk outside of 293 Humphrey St. at 5:54 a.m. Tuesday.
Complaints
A caller on Sculpin Way reported at 2:53 a.m. Monday that a group on the front porch was being loud.
A caller states that people were harassing him outside of 5 Cherry Ct. at 7:57 p.m. Monday.
Overdose
A caller in the All About Dance parking lot reported at 6:18 p.m. Monday that her boyfriend had overdosed in her car. She had administered Narcan to him, and the fire department was notified.
Theft
Representatives from Marshall’s on 1005 Paradise Road reported two men fleeing the store in the direction of Walgreens at 1:50 p.m. Monday.
