The Bishop Fenwick girls basketball team came out strong and never let up Monday evening, notching a 53-32 win over Catholic Central League foe Archbishop Williams at home.
Before the game, the Crusaders held their Senior Night to honor their three seniors — captains Brynn Bertucci, Liz Gonzalez and Veronica Tache — for their contributions to the program.
Junior Olivia Found led the way for Fenwick with 12 points and six steals, while junior Julia Loescher notched 10 points and four assists. Gonzalez added five points and 10 rebounds in the win.
Fenwick (5-2) plays on the road at Arlington Catholic Wednesday night (6:30).
BOYS BASKETBALL
Bishop Feehan 54, St. Mary’s 53
The Spartans rallied back from a 15-point deficit at halftime to take a lead late in the fourth, but they just couldn’t quite get over the top in a road loss Monday night.
Sammy Batista had 22 points for St. Mary’s, while Ali Barry had 14 points.
St. Mary’s (5-3) hosts Cathedral Wednesday night (7:30).
