Greater Lynn Senior Services (GLSS) salutes the great team at the Lynn Board of Health led by Michelle Desmarais. Michelle and her nursing team of MJ Alexander and Jennifer Almonte organized a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for GLSS’ consumer-facing staff on Tuesday, January 26.
In three short hours, more than 90 of our staff received their first vaccination and were scheduled for their second. Ensuring our employees are vaccinated significantly assists our team to appropriately serve our vulnerable consumers.
Ms. Desmarais and her team have done great work in unprecedented times. Since March, the Lynn Board of Health has been a great resource to us and our consumers with guidance about best practices as well as the donation of personal protection equipment and care kits for our staff and clients.
We are so grateful to the Board of Health team and look forward to working with them on many efforts in the future.
