I enjoy reading the Item. Over the past months, there have been a lot of interesting and positive articles from the new fire trucks to the number of positive grants Lynn receives that help so many different areas of the city.
The headline on an article in the Feb. 12 edition read: “Lynn teen digs in for elderly and disabled.” This young man, Christian Gonzalez, and his friends are a positive reflection on his generation and the city.
I have stated in previous letters that there are positives in Lynn including great employers, new building growth, good schools, and a well-run government. Another major positive is the city’s diverse population.
Christian Gonzalez and his friends are individuals we can all be proud of. More people should follow their example.
