Saugus is out, but Lynn, Peabody and Revere are still in the red this week.
With its new yellow designation, Saugus is no longer considered a high risk for coronavirus spread. The town is now classified as having a moderate risk.
Lynn, Peabody, and Revere stayed red, but their positive test and daily incidence rates continued to decline this week, according to the state Department of Public Health (DPH).
The positive test rate is 5.32 percent in Lynn, 4.66 percent in Peabody, and 4.42 percent in Revere. Their respective daily incidence rates are 31.4, 34.1, and 33.9 new cases per 100,000 residents, according to the DPH.
New cases were reported in Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Peabody, Revere, and Salem on Friday.
In Lynn, 40 new cases were reported to bring the city’s caseload to 15,529. Of that total, 289 cases are active, 193 people have died, and 15,047 have recovered from the virus, the city reported.
Peabody has reported 44 new cases since Monday to bring the city’s total number of cases to 6,192. The city’s death toll is 291 and 5,445 people have recovered, according to the health department.
Fifteen new cases were reported in Revere, which now has 9,530 cases and 149 deaths, the city website reported.
Lynnfield (1,011 cases, 29 deaths) reported five new cases, Marblehead (1,169 cases, 31 deaths) has reported 23 new cases since Monday, and Salem (4,065 cases, 72 deaths) reported seven new cases.
Numbers remained the same in Nahant (222 cases, six deaths) and were not updated in Saugus or Swampscott, which had 3,501 cases and 64 deaths, and 942 cases and 19 deaths respectively as of Thursday.
