LYNN — The Lynn Department of Public Works (DPW), located at 250 Commercial St., announced that downtown street sweeping will begin on Monday April 5 and occur from 4 to 8 a.m. until the following Friday.
The DPW urges people to avoid parking in street sweeping zones during these designated times, as cars in these zones will receive a $20 ticket. They advise people to watch for posted times on street signs and move all vehicles off of the street.
The DPW said that downtown business owners and residents can assist with keeping Lynn clean by picking up trash in front of their establishments, calling the DPW if trash is overflowing, and sweeping sidewalk and gutter lines.
The Lynn DPW encourages residents to contact them with any further questions at 781-268-8000.
