LYNN — A 59-year-old Jamaica Plain man crashed his pickup truck into five cars before colliding into a home on Essex Street Wednesday morning, police said.
The man, whom police declined to identify, was operating a Dodge Ram 250 when he allegedly sideswiped a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction on Ingalls Street, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The driver then reportedly hit a parked car on Ingalls Street, before hitting another parked vehicle on Jackson Street.
Kmiec said that the driver then traveled onto Essex Street, where he hit a third parked car, before crashing into a house and another parked vehicle at 149 Essex St.
Kmiec said that the driver was transported to Salem Hospital with minor injuries. No charges have been filed and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
